@ThomasSwords @shaun_vids Columbo came close to avoiding copaganda tropes. Almost no bogus science. He's kind to everyone, even unrelated criminals. And the rest of the LAPD is basically invisible, keeping him at arm's length. Not perfect, but comes pretty close.
