@Tiffany_Smith @StarTrek It's a subversive show on a lot of levels, but one of the clearest is how it quietly transitions from a traditional episodic model, complete with episodes almost worth skipping, to a modern serial, where even a lot of those "bad" episodes start to make sense in retrospect.
