@GOPChairwoman Energy independence is embracing new energy that's (in many ways) free, not shackling us to dirty technology that existed a hundred years ago to squeeze out extra profits from a spent well. But that fits the GOP's "war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength" angle.
