    @onthemedia @BostonJoan This falls out of algorithmic optimization of ad dollars, no? Content exists to keep people attentive until the next ad, emotional engagement is better for response rates, and fear/anger are cheapest to provoke. Without regulation, hateful content is a perfect match...
